Overview & Scope

This policy describes how DINO KIDS DAYCARE CENTRE LTD. operating as Dino Funland ("we," "us," "the Company") handles information when you use our public website, including the tickets and booking areas. We operate primarily in Canada and aim to be transparent about what our pages do in your browser and when third-party services are involved.

1

Who this applies to

This policy applies to visitors of our website. If you book tickets or submit information through our booking provider, their privacy terms also apply to those transactions.

2

Information we do not collect on our static pages

Our site is largely built as static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We do not run first-party analytics or advertising pixels in the site code you load from us. We do not use HTTP cookies set by our own scripts in the current version of this project.

3

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which can save small pieces of data on your device for a period of time.

Depending on your choices in our cookie notice:

Accept Mode

We may use browser storage where described below (for example, remembering your preferences on the tickets page).

Essential Only Mode

We limit optional storage; features that remember choices across visits may be reduced, and some preferences may only last for your current browser session.

4

Tickets page — location and preferences

On our tickets page, you may choose to use your device's location so we can suggest the nearest tour stop. If you allow it:

  • Browser-Only Proximity Check: Your browser may share approximate coordinates with our page so we can compare distances to venue locations shown on the site.
  • No Server Transmission: We do not send those coordinates to our own servers in the static site code; processing happens strictly in your browser.
  • Preference Memory: If you choose to remember your choice, we may store a small value in local storage (when you have accepted optional storage) so we don't ask every time.
  • Full Control: You can change your mind at any time using your browser settings, clearing site data, or adjusting the options directly on the tickets page.
5

Third-party booking

When ticket booking is available, it may be provided through an embedded tool or link from a third-party booking provider (Checkfront). When you interact with that service, the provider's cookies, storage, and privacy practices apply on their domain. We encourage you to read their privacy policy when you complete a purchase or create an account with them.

6

Social links

Our site links to social networks (for example Facebook, Instagram, TikTok). If you follow those links, those services may set their own cookies and process data under their policies.

7

Mailing list / forms

If you use a signup form on our site, how your information is used depends on how that form is connected (for example, an email marketing tool). If the form is only a demo client-side, no data may be transmitted until a backend is configured. When you connect a real service, update this policy and your internal procedures accordingly.

8

Scripts from CDNs

Some pages may load scripts from third-party CDNs (for example, animation libraries). Those providers may receive technical data typical of web requests (such as IP address in server logs on their side). See their privacy notices for details.

9

Your rights

If you are in Canada, you may have rights under federal or provincial privacy law (including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and provincial laws such as Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), where applicable) to access, correct, or challenge the accuracy of personal information, and to understand how it is used.

You can also control cookies and site data through your browser. For requests specific to our organization, contact us using the details in our Contact section.

10

Children

Our events are family-oriented. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child in a way that concerns you, contact us and we will work to address it immediately.

11

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy.
